A charming petite atlas and geography for children. Engraved frontispiece shows the infant Atlas holding the globe on his shoulders. Complete with 24 fully hand colored, folding maps including a double hemisphere world, each of the continents and several regional maps and celestial diagrams. Hardbound with marbled board, leather spine with title in gilt on a red background and gilt ornaments. 286 pages. Published by Jean-Marie Bruyset with maps after Delisle.
