Note in margin "From Arrowsmith's large Map &c." Names Cook's Inlet and several other landmarks in Alaska. The Rocky Mountains start around New Mexico and extend mostly straight north well into northern Canada. The West is otherwise blank. Several Indian tribes noted. The course of the Colorado River is fairly accurate, as is that of the Missouri.
