This is the second state of De Wit's fine chart of Hudson Bay and Arctic Canada. This beautifully engraved chart was based Van Loon's important chart. Many of the blank place names were filled in with the next state issued by Renard. A sea battle rages outside of the Hudson Straits. Includes Hudson Bay and Strait, Baffins Bay, part of Greenland, Labrador, etc. Embellished with rhumb lines and two cartouches – the second with the Dutch title.
