Two charts horizontally oriented with terrific detail of the rivers and shoreline. Decorated with three rococo-style cartouches and rhumb lines. This being the rarer first state with no page numbers or imprints outside the neatline and with fleur-de-lys for arrows on the major rhumb lines. Includes a photocopy of the title page.

Beautiful impression on a full sheet of thick hand laid paper with large watermark. Remarkably good condition for this large chart.
