Surveyed by Lieutenants Hood and William Smith under the direction of Capt. Talcott for the purpose of "exhibiting the position occupied in the determination of the Latitude of the extreme South bend of Lake Michigan." One of several maps published on the Ohio - Michigan Boundary dispute. Very detailed on a scale of 1000 ft per inch.
