View of the Dutch fleet's capture of the city of Salvador, under the command of Admiral Jacob Willekes in 1624. Inset at left is a small map of the vicinity in a scroll cartouche. Title in a banner cartouche at top. The view was originally produced by Nicolas Visscher and here copied for an unknown German publication.
