A very detailed map of central Holland in ancient times. Shows the course of the Rhine, Waal and Maas Rivers to the North Sea. Extends to about Germany. Numerous place names, including Flenium, Caftellum & Ara, Lauri, and the regions of Taxandri, Batavorvm Con, Tinens, Batavorvm Insuvla. Beautifully engraved with two large cartouches with figures.
