This lovely map was originated by Nicolas Sanson and here reissued by his successor, A. H. Jaillot. It covers the 'boot' of Italy in considerable detail and also includes part of Albania and Greece including Corfu. The uncolored title cartouche features two soldiers with their horses, angels and a coat of arms. The four distances scales are also enclosed in a decorative cartouche with Jaillot's imprint.

Very fine, crisp impression. Couple of insignificant tiny spots, overall very good.
