Uncommon Ptolemaic map of the continent. The Nile originates in twin lakes in the Montes Lunae and large mountain ranges dominate the topography. On a full sheet of German text with an illustration of a comet below the map and a medallion portrait on verso, all in original color. Published by Johann Stumpf.
