Fourth edition of this pocket atlas, Spanish text. Allegorical title page engraved by Harrewijn and 38 (of 43) folding maps by or after Jacob Harrewijn, Jacques Peeters, or Pierre Duval. Includes a double hemisphere world map by Peeters and a map of the Americas by Harrewijn both with California as an Island. Lacks five regional Dutch maps: Overijsel, Zutphania, Zelanda, Geldriae, and Utrecht, but they do not appear to have been bound in. Contemporary calf with raised bands on spine and gilt title.

Overall tight binding, corners worn with some repairs. Contents toned and generally clean. One regional map of Germany severely damaged, all else very good or fine condition.
