A handsome, large chart that explains the different theories of the solar system, according to Copernicus, Tycho Brahe and Ptolemy. There are numerous beautifully colored engravings of spheres, globes and diagrams of movements of the planets, including the moon and a solar eclipse. Several tables with French text explain the theories.
