A pair of maps cover all of Michigan: "Colton's Michigan" and "Colton's Lake Superior and the Northern Part of Michigan". Both show the counties and detail railroads, roads, villages, canals, post offices, etc. Good detail of named railroads in the south with proposed rail beds extending northward. Surrounded in Colton's distinctive scroll border. A very nice pair, each measuring approximately 15.5 x 12.5".

Both with good impression. Good coloring on the UP, slightly less brilliant on the other. Some light marginal staining away from borders.
