Fifth and final state of this significant Revolutionary War battle plan. The map was first issued less than five weeks after this major battle to illustrate the victory to the British public. It was then updated, in five states, to depict the progress of the campaign in which Gen. Howe's Army forced the withdrawal of the American troops. Original wash color in rivers and outline color to distinguish the various troop placements. Text below describing the battle and the British capture of the city.
