Extremely interesting map with a large map of the Eastern Hemisphere, into which is inset a smaller Western Hemisphere with the Island of California. The map shows the extents of the Roman and Alexander the Great's empires. Below the map are seven vignettes depicting the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Tables of French text surround the entire map. A very attractive sheet.
