Very decorative map of Peru and parts of Ecuador and northern Chile. Dense with place names and topographical detail. The map is oriented with north to the left. Lavishly decorated title cartouche with natives, fauna, mermaids and European flags and weaponry.

References:

Condition: B

An ink smudge obscures the details of the naked mermaids - perhaps the result of a past censorship. Otherwise a very fine and clean example.
