Four finely engraved views are incorporated at top: Cape Virgins; White Cliffs; Cape Fair Weather; and A view of Port Famine. Chart includes a large compass rose and depicts the discoveries of the British navigators, Byron, Wallis and Carteret.

Extensive tissue repair on the face of the map along fold to right of title. Tear also repaired with tissue on face, and margin extended at binder's trim. Still a large handsome chart on thick paper with beautiful coloring.
