Large uncommon map of Scandinavia filled with incredible detail. The map is based on the surveys of Andreas Buraeus, "the father of Swedish cartography" and dedicated to Gustavo Adolpho. The elaborate title cartouche incorporates 30 coats of arms and tiny ships further embellish the map.

Some minor discoloration. Upper corners expertly replaced including facsimile of left corner neatline.
