A splendid map of Poland and Lithuania from one of the most decorative 18th century atlases. The map is surrounded in an elaborate boroque style border featuring cherubs using globes and cartographic instruments and flanked by panels of French text. The map and decorative frame are printed from two separate copper plates and the text is pasted into the reserved space.
