This is a large vellum leaf from a Spanish manuscript, made in Granada circa 1620. The Spanish text is written in black ink and each side is decorated with very large historiated initials. The recto includes an 'E' on a background of gold leaf painted in green and white. The verso includes the initial 'F' on a background of red with the initial in gold leaf.

Some tape stains in blank margins and verso text is a bit faded.
